Learn more about this item

Sometimes you just want a punchy flat white to start the day, and a clean, fruity pour-over in the afternoon. We get it. That’s why we put together a bundle that covers your whole coffee bar.

For $99, we’ll cover the shipping and send you two of our staple espresso blends alongside two of the single-origin filter coffees we are most excited about right now. It’s the easiest way to taste a bit of everything we do at V5.

The Espresso Blends

☕ Fairy Dust Blend Our take on a fruit-forward, modern espresso. Built entirely on Ethiopian G1 and G2 beans, it drinks like red berries and Earl Grey tea when black, and tastes like a sweet shortbread biscuit in milk.

Tasting Notes: Red Berries, Earl Grey Tea, Shortbread Biscuits

Roast Level: Medium-Light

Fairy Dust Blend V5COFFEE

☕ Seasonal Blend Our award-winning daily driver. We use premium Brazilian and Colombian coffees to anchor it with classic milk chocolate and caramel comfort, plus just enough natural Ethiopian beans to keep the cup sweet and interesting all year long.

Tasting Notes: Milk Chocolate, Caramel, Roasted Almond, White Chocolate

Roast Level: Light-Medium

The Filter Lineup

We constantly rotate these to share what we're loving on the cupping table. Right now, we’re pouring:

💧 Colombia Finca La Providencia Gesha | Natural We love sharing a good Gesha, and this one from Huila is really special. The natural processing gives it a vibrant, syrupy body that bursts with elegant florals and boozy fruit.

Tasting Notes: Orange Blossom, Plum, Cherry Liqueur

Colombia Finca La Providencia Gesha V5COFFEE

💧 Ethiopia Chelbesa | Anaerobic Natural A heavy-hitting Yirgacheffe. The 72-96 hour anaerobic fermentation makes this incredibly sweet and juicy. If you like a bold, fruit-heavy filter coffee with a clean, wine-like acidity, this is it.

Tasting Notes: Tropical Fruits, Peach, Chocolate Fudge

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the same coffee beans for both espresso and pour-over?
While you can use the same beans, you will get significantly better results using coffees roasted specifically for your chosen brew method. Espresso blends are roasted to extract beautifully under high pressure and punch through milk, whereas filter coffees are roasted lighter to highlight delicate, fruity clarity in a slow pour-over. This bundle solves the dilemma by giving you two dedicated espresso blends for your morning flat white, and two rotating filter single origins for your afternoon V60.
Can you use filter coffee beans in an espresso machine?
Technically yes, but using light filter roasts for espresso is notoriously difficult and often results in a sharply sour shot. Because filter beans are roasted lighter, they are less soluble and require incredibly precise grinding and high-end equipment to extract properly under 9 bars of pressure. That is exactly why this bundle provides dedicated espresso blends engineered for your machine, saving the highly complex single-origins for slow, gravity-fed filter brewing where their delicate flavors actually shine.
What is the difference between a filter roast and an espresso roast?
The main difference is the roast profile, which determines how easily the coffee's flavours dissolve in water. Filter beans are roasted lighter to preserve the bean's natural fruitiness, floral aromas, and bright acidity, which taste beautiful during a slow 3-minute pour-over. Espresso beans are roasted slightly longer to further caramelize the natural sugars, giving the coffee a heavier body, lower acidity, and rich chocolate notes that taste balanced as a concentrated shot or paired with milk.
