How is it Made?

The Swiss Water Process involves soaking the coffee beans in hot water, allowing the caffeine and some flavor compounds to dissolve. Then, the solution passes through a carbon filter that captures the caffeine while letting the flavor compounds pass through. After this, the beans are re-soaked in this flavor-rich water, which helps them absorb the flavors again. This method is not only effective but also environmentally friendly.

We roast fresh coffee beans in batches every week in our roaster factory in Melbourne, Australia.

Your order is typically roasted, packaged and shipped within 24-48 hours to ensure it arrives at its peak flavour. You'll always find the roast date printed on the bag.

  • Espresso roasts are developed a bit longer to reduce acidity and increase body, making them perfect for pulling rich, balanced shots on an espresso machine. Suitable for long black, milk coffee or drinking in shots.
  • Filter roasts are typically lighter, which highlights the delicate, complex, and aromatic flavours of the coffee, ideal for methods like pour-over, V60, or Aeropress.

For maximum freshness, store your beans in the original resealable bag in a cool, dark, and dry place like a pantry and consume it within 30 days for best tasting.

We recommend avoiding the refrigerator or freezer, as moisture and odours can negatively affect the coffee's taste.

Welcome! A great place to start is with one of our V5 signature blends, like seasonal blend or fairy dust blend. They are crowd-pleasers, balanced and delicious with or without milk.

We dispatch orders from Monday to Thursday. Once your order is roasted and packed (usually within 1~2 business days), standard shipping within Australia takes approximately 2~4 business days. Customers usually receive their order in 2~5 business days on average.

It's important to match the grind to your brewer!

  • Whole Beans: Best if you have your own grinder.
  • Espresso: A fine grind for home espresso machines.
  • Filter: A medium grind for pour-over, V60, Kalita, or drip machines.
  • Plunger: A coarse grind for French Press or cold brew.

We also offer grinding service for your beans order. Remember to specify your choice of grind when adding into cart.
